To ensure smooth casting, make sure that your Chromecast and your device are connected to the same wireless network, either the 2.4GHz or 5GHz band. Being on the same network allows your device to detect and communicate with your Chromecast seamlessly.
Web Browser
- On the video player, tap the Cast icon.
- Choose the Chromecast device you'd like to cast to from the list (if more than one is available).
- Once connected, your video should now play on your TV.
- To end casting, tap the Cast icon again and select "Disconnect"
Mobile Devices
- On the video player, tap the Cast icon.
- Choose the Chromecast device you'd like to cast to from the list (if more than one is available).
- Once connected, your video should now play on your TV.
- To end casting, tap the Cast icon again and select "Disconnect"
What if the Chromecast icon is missing?
- Log out of your account and restart your casting device.
- Restart your Chromecast device
- Power off your internet router, wait 30 seconds, and then turn it back on.
- Log back into your account and attempt casting again
