We know how frustrating it is when the action stutters right in the middle of a big match. If your video is buffering or skipping, these quick steps usually get things back on track.
1. Give your internet a quick check
A stable connection is the secret to a smooth stream. We recommend a download speed of at least 10 Mbps for the best HD quality.
Test your speed: Head over to Speedtest.net to see how your connection is performing.
Get closer to the router: If you’re on Wi-Fi, try moving closer to your router. Walls and furniture can sometimes get in the way of a strong signal.
Plug in directly: For the most reliable connection on a Smart TV or laptop, try using an Ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi.
2. The "Power Cycle"
If your device has been running for a while, its memory might just need a refresh.
Turn off your device (TV, phone, or laptop).
Unplug your modem and Wi-Fi router from the power outlet.
Wait about 30 seconds, then plug them back in.
Once your internet is back up, restart your device and try the stream again.
3. Clear out the "digital clutter"
Temporary files (cache) can sometimes get "stuck" and cause playback issues.
On a Browser: Go to your browser settings and clear your Cache and Cookies. (Alternatively, try opening a "Private" or "Incognito" window to see if that helps.)
On the App: If the app is acting up, try uninstalling and reinstalling it. This clears out old data and ensures you have the latest version.
4. Close background apps
Other apps running in the background can "hog" your bandwidth. Try closing apps or pause large system updates while you watch.
